pay schedule question for Schneider drivers

    Last week, when Veterans Day fell on a Friday, a bank holiday, we were paid on Thursday. This upcoming week, Thanksgiving is obviously on Thursday and than Friday is a bank holiday also. Does this mean that we will be paid on Wednesday? I've only been with Schneider for a few months now, so Im not positive how the whole pay around holidays works. We've also been extra busy the last couple weeks, and I've really enjoyed it ( and the higher paychecks). Can I expect this to last til at least after the holidays? Thanks for your help !

    It's not just Schneider that freight slows down for it's the cycle of trucking. Schneider will still keep you rolling you may just go from say 2800 miles now to 2300 2400 after the holidays. Then as spring thaws the freight usually picks back up.

    Hmmm it hasn't showed up on Schneider crossroads yet. I hope your right in that we get paid tomorrow as with my bank being closed I won't get paid til Monday if payday isn't until Friday this week.

    im a choice owner operator. i do.pretty much the same thing every week, its as close to dedicated as i care to get. only thing i have noticed is that around holidays our load board gets a bit wierd

    All business have their seasons. I just hadn't really thought about trucking and freight....it makes sense. I think the only industry to prosper in January/Ferbruary is tourism in Florida.
