Gesus, my 08 389 isn't that clean but I think that price is a little out to lunch. Maybe 80k for mine isn't so far fetched
Paying $80,000-90,000 for a 2016 semi truck with 800,000 miles?

Asking price means nothing, only what it sells for.

I sold my 1994 379 3406E last year, I wonder how much would’ve it been worth now……

My sister and I purchased a house together in 2017. We looked at about 15 places for sale, put in an offer on 1, it was rejected. Made an offer on another place, it was also rejected.
About a month went buy, we get a call from the realtor of offer #1, asking if our expired offer, could be revisited. After some talking, we put in another offer, but for $5,000 less than our original. They accepted it, and we have been happy homeowners since August 2017 now. Lesson for them, they would have got more money, and a month earlier, if they didn't try to be so greedy.
When vehicle shopping in 2014 I went to the closest Ford dealership. They were not willing to accept my offer on an F150 I liked.
My next day off I drove 50 minutes to a different dealer, they had an almost identical F150 in stock, it was just a bit nicer. This F150 should have sold for a bit more money, but still I made them the identical offer on the out the door price, taxes, fees, everything in.
Sales lady went inside, i waited for her to return, standing beside my car in the parking lot, ready to drive off. She came back out smiling, and shook my hand, they accepted my offer.
Always be willing to walk/drive away.
Clown boy at Ford dealer #1 called me the day after I bought my new vehicle, asking me to come back, I said no need I already bought a nicer truck from your competition.
Sellers need to stop thinking everything they own is made of gold, and take a reasonable offer. Just because they over priced an item, doesn't mean they can sell it for that.Itsbrokeagain, Geronimo17, 59EX and 1 other person Thank this. -
Anything is only worth as much as somebody will pay for it, and not a penny more.

I also like and appreciate the sellers story and when I’m in seller mode and think that way!
That’s what’s fun and beautiful about the entire thing. Some people are horrible at both, some are good at one or another, but to be good at both is when you can really start to respect and enjoy the whole process IMO.Pamela1990 Thanks this. -
I wonder if used prices will start to ease up. Kenworth, Peterbilt and Freightliner dealers by me all have substantially increased the amount of used trucks on their lots in the last couple of weeks.
Pamela1990 Thanks this. -
