pc 78 elite or cobra 29 lx?????

    I don't have an elite but have a 78XL and 78LTW. Never had issues with either of them!!!

    The insides are about the same...Cobra and Unidens share the same boards...But IMO between these two, I would go with the Cobra if for no other reason I like the face better...

    I currently have a Cobra 29 LX LE, and have had the Uniden pc78 elite in the past, both are very similar...

    I have the 29 LX LCD and it's very nice and user friendly. Works quite well with my K40..

    i had a pc68, it worked really well. then i had a couple 29's. actually had problems with them..i got a Stryker 497hpc, but looking for a radio for my personal vehicle. the uniden "bearcat 880" would be very similar to the 29lx. but i was taold by a tech the unidens have better receive...still not sure which i want
