google instructions for wiping and reloading your hard drive. if it's a operating system problem. you'll have a fresh windows installation. like it was brand spanking new.

but if your having hardware issues. i'd be looking at some other option besides windows 8. unless you've already played with it and decided your one of the few that actually likes it. then by all means. but i'd wait untill the middle of october before buying a new machine.

WINDOWS 8.1 COMES OUT. and brings back the start menu and other enhancements they screwed up with the initial release.

i thought about running pcmiler. but it's too expensive.

 

I bought a bootlegged copy a few years ago for $20 dollars at a truck stop, but never used it.

 

I just got a new laptop with windows 8. Its like a cell loaded down the apps and games. My biggest problem is quickbooks can not save a file to a disk. Big problem with sending out invoices. Says some like the file cannot be saved PDF, or anything else.
