Just finishing up an overhaul of my 2006 C15 Acert CAT. Figured while we were in there we may as well make some upgrades as well. At the point of installing the Big Boss exhaust manifold from PDI, we found a major clearance issue with the after cooler bracket. Talking to the dealer who supplied the manifold, I was told that this was normal, and that I should grind away whatever is in my way, which in most cases is quite a bit. In my case, it is absolutely quite a bit. Looking for information at this point on the availability of an aftermarket cooler bracket with the necessary clearance. If anyone has seen or used one, I'd appreciate the info. It would seem if this product is on the market, someone would have the foresight to produce a pre-modded part. For now, I'll start grinding.

I dont have pics but yes you have to grind some off the bracket. Also check clear ence on the t-stats housing. Sometimes it will contact the pdi manifold.

Also the bracket that holds the turbo may need an "adjustment". I put 4washers in behind the cooler bracket to help space it out.
