We are primarily a foliage transportation company, started in 1982, we deliver plants
(some truckload, some multi-Stop) from growers in Florida to just about everywhere.
We have Freight out of Florida as well.
Yes we go to Long Island. Yes we go to the Northeast. Yes we go to the Midwest. Yes we go out west.
Yes we go north. Yes we go west. Yes we go south into Florida too!
Our Florida departures are called the “Peninsula Triangle”, leave with foliage or other freight,
deliver, pickup & deliver your next profitable load (WE DONT LIKE CHEAP FREIGHT HERE, either)
of Frozen Food, Dry Food, Produce or Whatever.
Yes we have a full complement of Great Dispatch Managers to serve you, overseen by a Operations Manager.
Yes you will GET the same RESPECT from them as you are request to PROVIDE to them.
Yes you work with the same Driver Manager daily, backed up by the other driver managers.
Yes you can stay out as long as you like, plan on 2-3 weeks, with 2000-3000 Miles weekly,
then back to Florida. Yes we have a busy season, March through July, don't plan on a extended
vacation during this time, please. Yes you will be brought back to Florida more often during this period.

Yes we pay for DEAD HEAD MILES. Yes we pay from PC Miler on Practical Miles. Yes we pay to unload foliage.
Yes we pay to put away our decking/shelving from the trailer. Yes we pay you to sweep out trailer or pay for a washout.
Yes we pay tolls. Yes we pay the Lumper Fees. Yes we pay Weight receipts.
Yes we provide a EFS fuel card to purchase fuel. Yes you get the Fuel Surcharge.
Yes we have a Escrow Account for you, helps save for those unforeseen emergencies on the road.
Yes you can select the percentage for escrow.Yes We provide for Driver Advances.
Yes you can “turn down a load”. Yes we have our own Tractor repair facility in Sorrento, Florida
you can use at reduced rates. Yes we have National Account status on Tires, Repairs, Batteries etc.
paid from your Escrow Account, if needed. Yes We provide settlements each Friday, usually by by “Direct Deposit”.
Yes you will be signing a Independent Contractor Operating Agreement.
Yes, if your Tractor Lease is with us, we take the Tractor Payment weekly.
Yes you will pay Occ-Acc Insurance, Physical Damage Insurance & Bob-Tail Liability, maintained by Peninsula,
deducted from Weekly Settlements. Yes we do have a Administration Fee, yes its reasonable.
Your Tractor will need to be inspected by our Tractor Shop before 1st dispatch.
Need an Annual Inspection, we can do that too!
