Pennsylvania apportioned tag cost

How many states were on your first year plate @windsmith?

 

We lived in a small town, 250 total population, so vurtually no crime. My wife stopped by the school to tell my son to ride the bus home, as we were headed to Sante Fe. Someone reached in and grabbed her purse and all paperwork, state,fed, ifta, truck titles , everything. lol
Trucks set in the driveway for nearly 2 months, before we got everything back. lol

 

That sure is a bummer. Thieving rotton people..cause all kinds of problems.

 

All of them, plus Canada. You can no longer exclude states or provinces.

 

Screw it. I'm plating in Indiana anyway. PA ain't worth screwing around with anyway.

 

I don't think it matters what state you register in as far as irp. Your first year will be estimated anyway.

 

Mayby you remember? Used to be a novelty plate that read, " Pennsylvania land of taxes". More true now than ever! Pa turnpike live forever.

 

Correct. As op has no miles to report yet. Besides..whats a little more monet amongst friends? Lol

 

When I set up my irp I was able to get it so my plates renewed like 7 months after i opened my irp so that I wasn't on estimated for a full year. My state had the option of a few different months you could set for your plate renewal

 

Yep. And you can't pick and choose states any more, no matter what state you register in.
