Apparently since employers can put false information on your psp report some companies do not use psp and only go off your mvr.
Any other companies that do that ? does anyone know?

Ah, so close, it's Penske, and seemingly a good company. Employees give it a "3.8" out of a "5". Been around a long time, so I doubt they would do anything shady like that. This has been discussed before here, hope this helps.
    Dispute PSP report

Companies do not put anything on your PSP. Everything on your PSP comes from all DOT inspections and accidents.
Some companies do report drivers to DAC (Hireright).

I am curious about this, from the FMCSA website, data comes from inspection and crash history, I do not see where carriers can add information to a PSP report at will. Can you provide some insight on how a carriers can input their own data?

    From the FMCSA website:

A PSP record contains a driver's most recent 5 years of crash data and the most recent 3 years of roadside inspection data from the FMCSA MCMIS database. MCMIS is a federal government database, which is different from the state data sources used to generate Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs).

A PSP record displays the motor carrier for which the driver was operating for at the time of the crash or inspection. It also shows the location and date that a crash or inspection occurred. Additional safety details about crashes such as injuries, fatalities, and towaways are included in a PSP record. Likewise, inspections show details like whether a vehicle was placed out of service.

Following a request for data review, a PSP record may be updated to reflect a determination that a crash was not preventable, or to note that a driver was convicted of a different charge.

The PSP record does not contain a score.

The record displays a snapshot in time, based on the most recent MCMIS data load into the PSP system. A new snapshot is uploaded approximately once per month.

From my experience with them. Penske has trash elogs. Because once I was in one of their rentals. Elog was on my phone. Disconnected from the truck by stepping 5ft away.

When I was at Southern Pines Trucking. Maintenance went through Penske. Took forever for anything to get done. Actually one location didn't have the tool to connect to a 2023 579 Pete to diagnose a issue

Well, I don't know about the elog issue, but maintenance problems pretty much affects all outfits. A dire shortage of mechanics, overwhelmed by todays BS in trucks, and I don't think Penske specific. Besides, a 2023 Pete with an issue? It would be sitting on the dealers driveway with 10 flat tires,,,

I just got hired to deliver out of one of their locations. My MVR is clean, spotless but my psp has two accidents and two tickets. I got lucky. 32 an hour max wage but they started me at 29.
