I was off duty for the last three weeks and starting a new job. I get into the truck and login to the system to make sure I am able to. I logged in and went into sleeper berth status. I am looking at the HOS tab and it's counting down my 14 like it isn't recognizing I was off duty a long time and my 70 is untouched. Any ideas on how to correct this without sleeping 10 hours?

Contact the log department at your company and they might be able to amend it for you.

It's after hours and I don't want to bother them now. I'll deal with it in the morning. I miss good ole paper.

By that point, you will have finished your 10 hour sleeper break. Hence, no need to contact the company.

If it's just being screwy and doesn't touch his 70, I wouldn't worry.

Mine's wiggy as well. I'll get in after 14 off & it'll say I have (random #) 1h 25m left on my 14. Sign in, pretrip, take off. 5 minutes down the road I'll have 13h 40m on my 14.

    Florida Playboy Thanks this.

When logging on to pnet you must set the duty status to off duty during login process it asks you to set a status my guess is you accidentally hit on duty during login so it's counting down your 14 I would not worry about it if you don't need to move for 10 hours if you do see if you can do a annotation aka edit it will be under
e driver logs>annotations>existing DS if you can't see the on duty time then you would need the log Dept because you certified the logs and can't go back and anotate after certifying them... Hope that makes sense also bare in mind it could be slightly different for your company

If you are on people net, the reason it's counting down on your 14, is because you didn't hit ok in the bottom left.
After about 3 minutes it put you on duty not driving.
People Net is that way. When you hit a change of duty status, you have to confirm it with ok in bottom left.
I have done this on occasion, and had to go back in and fix it.
