It did not remove it for company drivers. It removed the mechanism for claiming it. If it had removed it companies could no longer offer it either.
Any driver needing to claim other income can still take their per diem on schedule c.

Everybody always forgets and then come November they make the same mistakes again and again.

What’s the yearly maximum you can contribute to social security or is their one... I’d think if your wages still meet the maximum per diem works to your advantage ... ps as a Canadian I’m not sure if you have a maximum
