Cough up the fuel money, Sneeze out the maintenance cost, Shart out the driver pay to cover them 4 hours of driving.

Otherwise mind your own dang business & keep your truck on the big road & out of the truck stop!

If it bothers you that much, take it up with the truck stop owner. If he doesn't do anything then you can quit worrying because it's not going to change.

A lot of your posts are really negative and critical.
Is there anything you like about this business? If not, why stay in it?

Their just a lot of trucks on the road. Denver has always had parking problem. They pay crazy money to into Denver but dirt cheap rates coming out. So driver sit waiting for a loads. More trucks on the road and they really have not built any new truck stops. Denver got the TA and the Flying J and the filled up once they opened. Not they are always full.

I love working by myself and not having obnoxious coworkers yakking in my ear. Also the money is better than my old job. But no truck stop should be filled 24/7/365

I do stay out of the truck stops unless I have a legitimate reason to be there. Out of the 100 plus trucks parked I doubt even half have a good reason for being there

Curious, what’s your list of legitimate reasons to be parked at a truck stop?

I guess being a truck driver at a truck stop is not a legitamate reason.....that's like being homeless and complaining about all the homeless people at the homeless shelter

Clearly this gentleman doesn't understand the many facits of this dynamic industry. All of the markets he described have a major shortage of any type of truck parking. If he really wants the answer to his question he might spend 48 hours in any one of those truckstops, walk the lot every hour and note who is occupying each space ask them what their reason is.
If he survives the first hour he can give us a full report.
