Who the heck knows what 2019 will bring. You could get a job today and make bank. By 2019 it might be dried up or it might be even better. The thing about these “booms” is they don’t last forever so you need to get while the getting is good.

You'd wanna be based out of Kenedy, or Hobbs, for one patch, or Midland for another. There's a patch still working in the Kenedy area. Midland's always a good bet. When you drive through a place and see the nice, like-new oil drilling EQ like you will in Midland sitting in staging areas and EQ dealers' lots, it won't be drying up anytime soon. It may slow, but it won't stop.

Never one of that magnitude. Only the camp houses on a drilling rig location. Lots of noise round the clock.....

One word. Actually, two letters. RV.

West Texas is like being on the Moon - BUT I hear PIlot built a tiny lol new truck stop out there at 285 and 652.
So there is that - Best of Luck if you venture out there
That bench in my avatar is right there at that intersection. A buddy of mine spent the night on that bench several years ago on a motorcycle trip - it was miserable he said lolLast edited: Aug 10, 2018
