You would wait, you are going to have to take one in Springmo. Save the money IMO

do it BEFORE you leave. and take it in personally. then you know it's a done deal. specially since you WON'T have a lot of hometime when you get started. and NEVER rely on the company to do your job for you. there are lots of threads complaining about the mess they are in now for relying on there company to do what they're supposed to be doing themselves.

you'll have to take again when you leave for prime. but that's paid for by the company. as your required to do a drug test before starting any new job.

but you WON'T have to take the medical again. other then what prime wants you to do.

 

Ok lets bring in a bit of facts. The feds now require the statez to put cdl med cards in their data bases. Many states will not issue a permit without one. If you get a physical ant permit before comming to prime u will have to pay for another at prime. If u can afford it it is still way better to get permit before comming as you will get paired up faster and go to the class that they teach the instructors how to teach the pretrip.

Now fax or in some states send it via web. Still in 1 month you will get a mo cdl and they will register your med card then within 30 days you will go to home state and transfer your cdl with med ard in hand and all will be ok
