permits going to school

i went to a swift academy and didnt have jack. got the permit on the 4th day (or so). It all may depend on the school you go to. They might each be a little different for each state that they're in. I'd call up a recruiter and ask. then i'd call them back, hope to get a different recruiter, and see if you get the same answer. THEN i'd call yet again. if you get the same answer, then you're good. =)

 

Millington requires students get permits before showing up. It's actually a good idea. They can skip over all that crap and get on with training. That said, I have every endorsement you can think up except school buses and passengers. You won't need tankers, haz-mat or doubles/triples...or anything to do with buses and passengers. So take all that stuff out and get what's left.

 

I would also suggest that you get your permit before going to school. Much easier and why everyone is cramming into the wee hours of the morning and stressing. You can enjoy the night and go on about your business.

I would do all the tests at home not just the permit test. This way you are ready and don't have to stress. Then all you have to do is take the road test at the end of school.
