permits required??

    Besides my CDL, temp license plates (which dealer will supply) and insurance that I will supply, what else is needed for me to drive my new 'used' truck home? (alabama to washington) ???

    That should do it, along with a log book. Some POE might want you to buy a permit. Better check on the IFTA thing also. Not sure if the dealer plates hold any water in other states. Ask for an "in transit permit" from the selling dealer. If you can plan on staying away from $&^%$# states, such as Co/Wy/Ut and travel through nice states such as Nv/Tx/Ok if possible, you might be better off.
