I noticed when I was a company driver and when I was leased driver I had a permit book with permits for each state. Were these just for HM or something. Because I opened a IRP account Monday and told them I'm going to run my 8 closes states. And then I went to a different location to open the IFTA account. Each place gave account/receipt certificate etc. But what I'm asking is, don't I suppose to have a piece of paper for each indivsual state?

There are different requirements for Haz-Mat, Liquor, and Household goods ... IRP and IFTA have nothing to do with those ... Depends on what you plan on hauling to see if you need special permits ... If its just general freight you are fine

    Excorcist1 Thanks this.
