We are about to begin hauling Machinery for a local Business. My question is how difficult is it to buy permits directly from the State. Permit agencies are charging $30 per permit so with the State fee I'm looking at about $100 per state. We will haul both oversize and overweight
    Thank you

I used Comdata and then in order to save the $ I started ordering them from the states myself.....

If your within weight and size.......you could also just get an annual permit for some of the states that you know you will frequent...its cheaper!

What states? Some are easier than others, and you need to shop permit companies, I pay 15 per permit.
Overweight can get pricey learn to buy just the amount you need.

Your permit company charges you $15? Who are they, I'm sure they'd appreciate the extra business.

Also, doesn't Delaware require a permit company?

Reliable Permit Solutions out of California charges a flat $15 regardless of the permit cost. Jeremy and his crew are very helpful too. They will email or call you if you forget to request a permit, like a municipal.
