$25 per load, you gotta load like 8 trucks per day to make decent money.

    Iggydispatch Thanks this.

Yes, that's true but I don't really need to make a bunch of money now days. For some guys that $25 covers about 5 to 7 hours of calling shippers and working the load boards but if I sat here all day doing nothing I would go crazy(ier)

I would never give my business to any dispatcher who is not working for straight commission. Heck for $25 per load I can book 10 trucks per hour

Well, I do need a lot of money. Since you dont care for money yourself, why would you work hard, so I can make more?

I know how that goes. I worked for a big trucking company that brokered the loads their leased trucks wouldn't take for whatever reason. Because we worked on commission, many of the ladies I worked with spent more time trying to "sell" a crap load to a driver than finding the guy a decent load.(Our commission was based on covering the loads the agents most desperately needed to cover) Most of my guys have followed me thru several different companies because and they know I have no life and that I judge my worth here on earth by the amount of money I can help them earn or save. They saw me go from hourly to commission to even working for a few of them for free during a job change lol. Since they saw no difference in the way I worked and the money they made, I guess they trust me to do my job without having to dangle the carrot

Any one who is working for $25 per load, will not have the driver in mind when booking a load.
    Quality over Quantity.

Don't know why you couldn't, if you signed any type of contract with them I would see if there is anything in there prohibiting you from doing so.
