hang tough dude. Few more days til freedom. You COULD get some Vicks Vaporub to use to keep the stink out of your nostrils.

WHY hasnt he let you drive yet? Not trying to P*** you off , but I"m on my first day and we both (2 trainees) logged 200 or so each. Bumped my first dock today too. in sloppy a&& conditions.

 

I'll be starting a trucking career soon and surely I can shower every other day. He must be pretty lazy! There is no excuse for that. Your TE is nasty! I hope I don't get him!

WOW. Explain EVERYTHING to to her. This guy should nt be an example to newguys. Seriously doubt thats the image Schneider wants out there. Although , I've seen some real winners pass through Indy OC. But still.

If ya dont get the response you want , go up the food chain.

 

Everyday no matter what i stop for fuel and if i know i wont be near a shower that night i'll shower then. I have had to wait til the next morning due to reasons but never 5 days and i change clothes daily.

 

Every other day at least. Can't stand myself or anyone else who is dirty and stinks. That and a dirty truck reflect on the driver and I used to wash company trucks and then go in and beg off by saying I kept them looking good so if I washed it 1X at a carwash they could get it at the truckwash. Worked everytime.

 

Your TE should not be driving unless his trainee is unsafe. I'd definitely tell the coordinator however you can't blame schneider for him not showering and him smoking especially if no one complains about him. I'd talk to who ever you need to and try and get a new TE but you may have to wait also.

 

Thats the thing to do hang in there and get your truck gaeducator, It's a shame that a trainer is acting as he is and in my opinion he shouldn't be training..... Good Luck
