Low air and oil light goes off but buzzer stays on,no codes (Detroit). Air pressure builds and light goes off at 60 but buzzer stays on, tried a spare warning light panel and does not help. checked low air switches no results. Any ideas? Do I take it to Pete, they don't do Detroits or Detroit dealer, don't want to pay for hours and hope they find it.

Open up the dash and find the buzzer....Disconnect it......Those old 379 dashes aren't hard to open up....And the wiring is all labeled too.....

Btw...What year is that Pete?
My old Pete 379 had a Detroit in it....The guy that bought it was running OK to TX and back...... -

You need either the light or the buzzer. You do not need both.
-
The circuit board that controls the buzzer are known to fail . Causing your problem easily fixed ,

have you been running thru the rain the last couple of days? Some 379's will start buzzing about 2 days after running thru a heavy rain just unplug it wait about 3 days and plug it back in. That should take care of the problem until you run thru a hard rain and then do the same thing
