I like them, fwiw. I think it depends on how radical you want to go. Just ECM tune I would think a grand should take care of that. Just be sure to let them know what you expect, HP and fuel economy wise. Don't be afraid to shop around but cheaper isn't always better. The wrong program can ruin your day engine wise. I would think that Antrium would steer you in the right direction, just be sure your engine is right first.

What I meant about tires was what brand and type, as for the mufflers http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...-wheelers/98181-379-replacement-mufflers.html

Just search around on this site for info. I know a lot of guys like the bullydog programmer because it can have more then one tune on it and has a bunch of other features that are handy. It also can be tuned by a lot of the tuners out there. Not sure about Mr. Haney being able though.

The best tune you can get is $1000-$1200.

Just like Wore out said also, get the CAC checked along with the whole intake system and check for any exhaust leaks. That will kill the MPG along with lower then normal power, high EGTs, etc, etc,

When you guys do mufflers you just come off the turbo back to the Y and out to the stacks? Also when you do that how loud is it?

    I have an 07' 379 with the C15 Acert. I run 68 mph @ 1375 rpm's and averaged 6.1 last year.

I pull a flat and a hopper trailer.

We run 6 inch straights on our trucks no inserts. 2 B model Cats and a C16 they aren't loud IMO. The C16 can get to you after a lot of steep grades under a heavy load. A small resonator before the Y should take care of that.
If thats what you are asking. We haven't used any of the free flow mufflers.
