As far as mufflers... areo turbine muffles are pretty slick...
I got dual pipes on my pickup truck.. with dual mufflers... if you put your hand on the exhaust on one pipe forcing the exhaust out the other side it will actually draw your hand in.. the mufflers design create suction and help draw out the exhaust.
I like the sound of them on my semi truck.. i seem to have extra firewall noise. Wondering if i need to look at exhaust manifolds and turbo this next year.
The muffler got me maybe a tenth.. i run usually 5.8-6 running flatbed. Which as i am learning is not bad.ODR Thanks this. -
Sounds like aero turbine has good mufflers, should help get out some heat...

Acert's like low rpm shifts 1300 rpm anything after that is just waisting fuel.... i get 6.8 mpg 90 day avg. 18spd/3:36 on 24.5 tires and gross avg 100,000 lbs and yes its all in a 2007 379 its all in the way you drive it.... you can do all the stuff the others are writing about for better MPG and it helps but the base MPG starts with how you run the engine first. and Don't change the ECM parameters just put a Pittsburg Power Box in.
And its against the law to delete emission parameters!
Caterpillar make Bulldozer engines not Nascar engines....
Good Luck -
