    Ok as the topic says i have a 387 Pete fully plastic i plan on ditching the stock antennas cause their garbage anyone have a similar install and can help me with an excellent antenna location and where you passed the coax? 1 or 2 antennas?

    I have done pretty good with a wilson k40 clamped to the drivers side grab handle and a ground wire ran from the clamp to the battery. the problem with the 387's is that they are put together with a bunch of quick connects and the like for ease of assembly. i have been told by a couple people (i dont have a ohm meter to check for myself) that if you check it for continuity at the plug, you wont have any
