True but 145k is going to get you very basic fleet specs.
Loaded your looking at 170K +/- options

That still sounds high. I know a guy who just got a brand new, tricked out 389 for $154k and a 389 is going to be more than a 579 with equivalent specs.

On the most recent batch of trucks for the company I work at part-time, they ordered T680s (more the same as the 579, but with different window dressing) with what's branded as a PACCAR transmission.... which I think is a ZF Meritor with PACCAR's ECM flashing. The difference between it and the Eaton autoshifts paired with that engine is night and day.. it's so much more responsive.

Guess it depends on what you call "tricked out" because that's a mighty cheap 389 to have very many of the pricey options of a custom order.

Unless... That's a pre-FET price.... That would be more like it....

Yea, in the US, In Canada truck prices are insane! And if it isn't on the lot as part of a "spec order" then you're gonna pay thru the nose for it.

Does the creep mode work, in forward and reverse from factory like the Detroit DT12?
