The 379 short hood fit fine on my 377 sfa but you do need to do some modifications. Find a truck at wrecker so you can steal cab mount brackets to drop cab few inches, if it’s the old style rubber block cab should be same deal. Mine did need the springs changed as well on the front axle.

It’s a set forward front axle? Should just be able to drop cab and install hood that’s all I did to mine. I changed front springs as well however that was only because the truck was equipped with front air ride which was replaced with an oddball spring size at some point. As far as I know the 377’s with SFA typically used same springs as 379.
