Yes I know hi idle can be turned to same as idle speed so it won't idle up. Engine brake can be set to manual, coast, or latch. In coast, engine brake only comes on with service brakes applied. Latched requires brakes pressed but continues engine brake operation after service brake released. With manual mode, engine brake switch needs to be on, RPM greater than 800, engine not fueled, and clutch not released and engine brakes will activate.
