I'm working on a Peterbilt 385. Truck came in because the A/C was inop. I hooked up the gauges and found the low side was in rtard. Lead me to check the orifice tube and it was clogged with metal shavings. I replaced the orifice tube, compressor and drier. Once recharged the Compressor would not kick on. I've got no power going to the compressor, low pressure switch, high pressure switch or the fan clutch switch on the radiator compressor line. Also found no power at the a/c on/off switch on the dash. I do not have a relay / fuse lay out the fuse box cover was missing. Peterbilt gave me a schematic for a 879 saying it was a catch all BUT I cannot find any of the wires on this schematic. SO where should I check? I've swapped all the relays around none of them click when turning on the a/c on/off switch. I've checked all my fuses and they are all passing power through them.
Peterbilt 385 A/C Inop. No power at Dash Switch

most likely i would say its something like a maxi fuse thats maybe burned out for HVAC System you can back test it to fuse box but it will be time consuming. what year is this truck do u have wiring diagram for ac system it should tell you what they have in common

Its a 2000, The only thing I could get some Peterbilt is a 379 Model Family Electrical Schematic and a 379 wiring schematic. It covers a lot of options cummins engine too. This has a Cat C13 In it. I can't even locate the wire coming off the A/C Compressor in these schematic. Its a Black wire with 239-3 on it then a light green w/white stripe wire. I'm getting 12volts at the Fan clutch pressure sensor. No voltage at the A/C Compressor plug. No Voltage at the Low pressure sensor or high pressure sensors on the firewall. No relays are clicking when turning on and off the A/C Dash switch. No Power going to the A/C Switch either.

Have you tried supermiller.com?

Yes Supermiller didn't have a breakdown for the 385 either. Talked with the peterbilt dealer locally and he couldn't locate a schematic for the 385 also. So needless to say the truck is at their shop. Will be 2 weeks sitting there on Friday.
