LMAO ROOKIE..... far from Rookie sir, Go to this thread, http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...-the-inside-scoop/114561-van-wyk-inc-328.html ask any driver who has driven a 2010 KW that was ordered for the fleet within that time frame and asked how it pulled... I constantly out pulled trucks on 78 & 81 in PA/NJ/NY.. Only problems was these trucks had the most problems with the DPF systems for some odd reason, but hey if I sounded like a little greenhorn to you then fine, but I'm just telling you what I have experienced with these trucks...

Its not as aero dynamic stock. Lots of things play into mpg though including, engine, trans, drive train, tires, etc. Unless I'm mistakin, you cant buy a pete with a fuel sipping Detroit.

Read my post again, I didnt call you a rookie, but compared you to the rookies that say some silly things. Mind, with that 4 yrs of experience, if the shoe fits.....
I wont be bothered in reading threads, at the end of the day its a lower powered company truck. Saying it can outrun anything is immature and inaccurate. One thing I have learned in life, there is always some bigger, faster, tougher, and so on.

I am sold on the Volvo. WE have three of them and all have the 500hp D-13 engines. Our newest seems to pull the hardest and gets way better fuel mileage than the other two. I am on a dedicated run for the next couple weeks between WA and CA right now. Last weeks numbers were 8.6mpg at 55,000 WA to CA and 7.8mpg at 75,000 CA to WA. I do get passed a lot down hill, but I don't see many trucks passing me uphill.
This week I averaged 9.0mpg from WA to CA, but had only about 10,000lbs in the box.

Here are the pics of the computer.

I won't play with you. Get over it, a WS is a heavy truck. That's the mileage you get. Good part, You won't need another truck for years.

My new 4900ex is only 1400 lbs heavier than my old Columbia!
Tons more interior room, a ride to die for, and looks superb in my book!
All the light weight trucks will be rattling apart in years to come, a lesson I learned myself.

The truck is part of Trucking. A frame, wheels, brakes, tires, ect, Home is important also. I like brown, red, or what the truck coe or rig comes with. I make it mine. 11,000 to ? it's Your home.
