They had to take the Yoke off to fix the speed sensor problem and the Yoke was rusted on. Nothing to do with the clutch. The clutch job is finished and already paid for.
Peterbilt broke my truck, how much should they be responsible for?

Oh my god.
How have you not strangled them to death?Nothereoften and speedyk Thank this. -
Any work done related to the items they damaged during the primary repairs is their responsibility.

There gonna replace the sensor part and labor. For everything else, I bet they eat the labor. But hit you with a bill for the parts. Not saying right or wrong. Just saying what will proba my happen.

I heard back from Peterbuilt. The service advisor at talk to the service manager and came up with a great deal for me. They will take care of all parts all labor except for a remove and replace one transmission which he says is 8 hours. I told him I'm in my way in and have the service manager there.
New question should I pay the bill to get my truck back to get back to work. And then go ahead and sue them in small claims court. Or do I give up my right to sue them if I pay the bill. I understand we have a lot of CB lawyers out hereDave_in_AZ and Midnight_tim Thank this. -
I would try to negotiate a little further and get out of paying anything or the least amount possible considering you're losing money day by day already and they've compounded it with their stupidity

If so tell them to eat all the costs.Final Drive and AModelCat Thank this. -
Went in and talked to the service manager. Guess I wasn't given all the information. During the clutch replacement was told that the Yoke had a stripped bolt hole. They attempted to remove the Yoke by heating it up. They guessed they were able to back it off a couple thousands and that's what loosened up the toner ring. That is why my speedometer didn't work properly after I picked it up. They ended up repairing the stripped-out hole instead of replacing the yoke.
With that being said I figured I'd be responsible for the toner ring being it was part of the clutch. I'm paying four hours of Labor and that's it.
