The factory clock in my sleeper is constantly resetting seemingly randomly because Ive checked if turning the truck on or off causes it but it doesn't. I set the time every night and then during the day as I'm driving it must reset because it will be flashing and the time completely wrong. This is the little circular digital clock with red numbers that I think is standard with every truck. I'm about to just disconnect it if I can't use it haha

GREETINGS Josiah,
Does the clock make any noise/s?
If no Noise/s, just dis-co-nect.
CHEERS!! -
It will sometimes beep during engine start up maybe that's a clue actually. I would love for it to work ideally so I can use it
-
Sounds like a loose wire that’s maybe getting wiggled enough to cause the reset or maybe a loose fuse??
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
That's the clue. Beeps during engine startup.
there is a voltage drop at that moment, enough to cause the clock to reset, it beeps when it does it.
I will bet that Pete has a service bulletin on it. Either the clock is too sensitive to voltage swings or there is a wiring issue.Bean Jr., Rideandrepair and Josiah Harder Thank this. -
I checked the connection to the clock is very secure and all the fuses seem to be good too but I just pushed on all of them to make sureGYPSY65 Thanks this.

Thank you for that! It wouldn't be a battery issue would it? Because I just got brand new oddyssey batteries and the issue carried over with my new batteries too

Did you figure it out? Mine does the same thing
