Peterbuilt 389, turning on the "fog" light on hi beam?

    Yep mine is 2 amp as well. Doesn't take much amperage to activate a relay

    This is probably not what you want, but I add off road lights to all my trucks, several sets on my haul road truck.
    On my trucks with the dimmer switch on the column, I run my lights through the factory spare switches, to an old style floor dimmer switch I add in. That way I can use the switches to turn on which set I want or all of them and kill them all in a hurry with the dimmer switch in the floor.

    My international still had the floor dimmer, so I used a 3 way switch and use power from the high beam indicator light for one pole and just constant power to the other, that way I can run them without the high beams on, but when driving run them with high beams and the dimmer kills them. I do not like this set up as well.
    On my log truck, the switch is on the shifter, it was that way when I bought it and pretty handy, but some day may put a dimmer in the floor for it too.
