Depends on the company.

Ask them if they have a pet policy. Most will require a deposit.

The newest version of a pet policy is $300-$400 up front and then .01 per mile as long as your little (Or Big) buddy is on board with you. Most companies limit the weight to 30-35 lbs. I have and dog, but the environmrnt of a truck is no place for a pet.

As a former OTR driver with a few years of taking a pet in the truck, I'll say you'll be luck to find that even 10% of trucking companies will allow a company driver to have a pet dog or cat in the truck. Expect the companies that allow pets to allow only pets of a certain weight and to require a deposit, which may not be refunded.
The only answer to "does the company allow pets" is from the company, not other drivers. Probably half of the pets I've seen in trucks were contraband. Don't assume that if you see a pet poodle in a truck that means the company allows pets. Also, don't be tempted to sneak a pet into the truck. The company will find out or other drivers will see you. All it takes is a minor accident or a shipper/receiver to uncover your hidden pet. Sneaking a pet into the truck is a firing offense just like taking unauthorized passengers.
