Pfizer, Merck start testing COVID prevention pills in late-stage trials

It's not a matter of trusting science. I used to fly airplanes and was also instrument rated. I flew in instrument conditions using ground based navigation aids. I put my life in the hands of the people that designed and maintain all of them. I also have Epelepsy and I have a heart condition. The medical science behind this has kept me alive! It is THIS science I am not trusting right now! MUCH MUCH way TOO MUCH noise and basic hyperbole coming FROM BOTH SIDES! This is my point! Everybody is taking a position and claiming the "science" backs them! I'm calling all of these people out and calling BS on em ALL!

 

Don't you worry about anyone else. You've stated you had yours, you're protected. If you truely trusted the science you wouldn't be concerned about what anyone else chooses to do.

 

I see. You have moral superiority now that you’ve acted in the “correct” way. Those that don’t reach the same conclusions as you are inferior. Thanks for coming clean on that.

 

STOP IT. JUST STOP IT. A man of your background, medical history and apparent intellect has at some point separate science from politics! THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE. "Science" has kept you alive..kept me alive (Amlodipine for high blood pressure) and I wouldn't give a rat's bum if a republican or democrat supported it or was against it. If it's scientifically life saving, medically safe and affordable I'm taken it it's for the greater good. Hell if they told me I had to die to save an amount of people and my sacrifice would benefit the mass I would consider once the science, economics and morality of it was settled. THIS science is just as trusting as any other that has saved lives. The problem with this one is it was MADE political. It's funny how someone could be against something publicly but privately for their sake submit to it. Then turn around and wont credit for it's development while disparaging the scientists and epidemiologists who worked their brains overtime to develope it.

BULLSHYT. I'm not "morally superior". I just GAF. And YES I'm arguing in favor for your lives, your kids lives and everyone that comes in contact with you. I'm 44 years old with a 5 month old at home. Do you think I'm thinking about superiority? Hell no sir. I'm thinking about my baby who's precious, innocent and beautiful. I sacrificed my opposition to the vaccine for her and my 3 other kids (18, 13 and 8 yrs old). They want me to live like I want you and yours to live. This nation is and humanity is suffering because of misinformation and hyperbole. If you were in Spain right now you'll be waiting for the vaccine. Yet Americans have it FOR FREE and won't take it. JEEEZ LOUISE.
