I have no experience with pgt, but it isnt uncommon for the final check to be mailed vs direct deposit

And they wonder why most don't give them the opportunity to put the screws to us... (Exhibit A)

After I had given my two weeks notice at Pepsi and was at the end of week 1 training my replacement I was informed that my last paycheck would be held up until I collected the difference from a customer who was undercharged. I politely told them that price errors in the handheld computer, while unfortunate, were not my problem. I also informed them that I was taking my final week in vacation that I was owed and that if I was shorted one red cent I'd talk to a lawyer.. I was paid no problem.
If they had balked I was ready to threaten to turn them in to the DOT because 3 of us were operating outside the 150 mile radius for the shorthaul logbook exemption. -
They will only get away with, what you let them. -
You quit because you were away from home for 5 weeks? My god, next time do your homework before you drive Over The Road. They don't call it OTR for no reason.

trucking companies are in desperate straits for drivers
they have no choice but to deal with drivers like me
clean mvr , no csa , no drugs , no criminal record
i dont give a rats ### what they like or dont like
they have no problem trying to screw me every chance they get
and i have no problem doing the same to them

I once worked for a guy and his dad they both ran it, but he told me he had to inventory my company own property, I said what would that be? 2 shirts? They were on the seat of the truck, now send me my last check FedEx or I will turn you in for not pay SSI and all the other stuff you get away with not paying, I had a check the next day by USPS!.
I to don't trust these guys! They don't trust us why should we trust them?
