Hello all. First Post here. Currently interested in an LP or IC position at PGT. I am a former company driver there and know all there is to know there. But, I'm curious if anybody could give me insights to how PGT conducts business on the LP/IC end of things. I have the ability to buy a 2005 Kenworth W900(no not a long nose) with a C15 and 13speed trans. I am also approved for any truck they have to offer for an LP. I'd love to be able to buy the KW and be free of payments to PGT, but I'm not sure if they have an age limit on tractor's for their IC's. Anybody out there have some insights for me? Thanks in advance.

Look at the owner op fleet, I'm fairly certain they don't have an age limit , then again, after that owner op fiasco outside the Gary yard in 2015, i had heard that they were cracking down on the owner ops as well.

And if you want to know about the lease purchase side, call operations and ask them to have the driver Bottener call you or ask for his number, he completed a truck and trailer purchase through them andis still driving local dedicated runs, he can give you a run down on how it is.

That's worse than I thought you'd say! The KW I'm looking at has 1.2mil miles overall and 300,000 since the overhaul. Any idea if they have a mileage limit on owner operator tractors?
