I just talked to Phil today and will be applying in two weeks when I graduate. Former military also only 6.5 years on Submarines and am looking forward to a new line of work. I went to ABCDL in Waterford Ct good school... week of classroom and 3 months of driving... small classes too about 6 or 8 per class. I am looking forward to getting this moving... the other thing I like is I am from Pa originally be good to visit the old home state.

I have heard nothing positive about them and heard in the end you get screwed over. At first they make is seem good but in the end they screw you ...especially lease purchases

You "hear" lots of stories out here.

Surprise, Surprise. I thought that was true with all Fleece Purchase Programs.....

Hello,
My husband is looking at PGT and I am helping him with someone background investigation while he is in school.
What information can you tell me about PGT?
What is your average pay a week? (sorry to get personal)
Can they get you home more than every other weekend? We live just outside of Baltimore and with the terminal being close we hope that he would be able to be in town more often for resets of just passing through.
What is company climate like?
Do you like working there? -

I just started with PGT about a month ago and Phil was my recruiter. I will tell you that everything he told me was 100% true. There was one descrepency since I opted to fly up there and he told me they would reimburse me up to a certain amount and it turned out to be lower than what he said, So he got me the extra money and made it right. It is a great group of people up there. They have a good training program and are very concerned about safety and taking care of the drivers. I am home for Christmas now and they rented me a car to go home since I had been gone for almost a month.. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.

Are you still working for them? If so can you help me out with any info? I'm a new/student driver. Thanks. -
I have my CDL but I don't have any experience. I've been doing a lot of research on companies for several weeks and PGT is in my top 2. I have been studying their site for a while but I'm still not sure if they hire guys with a CDL and no experience? I hope they do! If so, how is their training program? Length, cost, place to stay? How is their equipment? Idling policy, APU's? Where is their training done? Any other good info you may have on PGT? Thank YOU
