Phone App

Hello Trucking World,

I'm working on a mobile app and would like to have some input on features that drivers themselves would like to use. A lot of times a carrier will try to implement new technologies that are either not of use to the driver or a real hassle to use. Would you prefer to run the functions of your in-cab system off of your mobile phone? What about just tracking and documentation?
Also, if anyone has tried any of these systems that are attempting to eliminate brokers (shippers post loads, drivers pick them up by viewing loads close in proximity), are they working well? Any recommendations from your side on what you would like to see developed in the net few years, primarily concerning your mobile phone?
