I am 14/7 also. Of course I am door closer. Slip seating isn't bad if the group you are with takes care of the trucks. The only part that sucks is moving your stuff in and out. Right we are lucky because one of the Drivers quit over the summer so I have been in the same truck since. It will stay that way until we get a 3rd Driver again. Good luck.

I started out wanting 14/7 but didn't know if the money was on a pan out or not. I decided to go mid west regional. Guess when I get a little more stable I could switch y'all know of anyone who switched from regional?

Do you have to live near a terminal for the 14/7? Or any other plan?

Well guys. Update on the physical. The sleep apnea test got me. I will talk to Roehl tommorrow but looks like that option is gone because I dont have the $ to see a dr, do a sleep test and get a cpap. Well i tried. Good luck to you guys.

Roehl pays for the test if needed they buy the machine and deduct payments weekly until paid for.DaytonaDoug Thanks this.

I passed everything but the cpap Bayle. I was really hoping to get to go to Roehl. I will talk to my recruiter tommorrow and see what they say.

They have their own sleep study company or whatever they call it that they deal with. When you get to orientation and pass all the preliminary stuff then safety will talk with you, give you a number to call. They on the other end will set up a time when you will be home so you will have to work with your FM to be home. This company sends some kind of glove type thing with sensors and instructions on how to use it and send it back via UPS. They give you a self addresses paid label. Once you send it back you will wait about a week maybe more and I say there is better than a 90% chance you will be told you will need to get a machine because you are positive for obstructive sleep apnea. I still have not agreed to get the machine. I have until end of February to either relent or get my own test done.
DaytonaDoug Thanks this.
