Just trying to see if anyone has had experience with these companies for inframe kits and what they think. Ive heard good thinks about both.

I used ATL recently when I ordered my IPD in-frame kit from them in January, it arrived faster than expected and would highly recommend that’s my 2 cents. Heard good reviews from PAI and some bad but it all boils down to what feels comfortable to you when ordering kits from different companies.

All the PAI stuff I have seen looked and worked very good. Engine kits looked better than some OEM or maybe stuff from the dealer. I thank they make their own stuff.
I thank ATL was in the business of remanufacturing camshafts. I have used them. Great price and they are still running. Believe a lot of that other stuff they buy and resell. They pulled feathers out of their hat and came up with stuff during covid when no one else could.

I have used many Interstate McBee kits and never had one come back, and I inframed many local trucks.

    D.Tibbitt and BoxCarKidd Thank this.

I have done the same with Clevite engine kits. Saw many of their bearings in engines from the OEM so why not use their kits?
The PAI Cat and Max Force Deere kits are eye candy. They really look good.

Star Rider and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

ATL just sells parts or is a distributor maybe I should say. I’ve run PAI, IPD, and buy quite a bit from ATL. Now they sent me a CTP front cover set for a C model CAT I sent back. It was a puzzle piece gasket that was very ill fitting. I had a CAT gasket here that was one piece. So I used it. Now usually CAT oil pan gaskets are puzzle piece and I have good luck with them but the oil pan gaskets they send are 1 piece and work well. PAI and IPD kits them selves I’ve never had trouble with. However the piston cooling nozzles they sent would not fit in the slot on the block for nothing. 3 tries later I called CAT. Same part number I had been ordering with ATL goes right in. .013 difference. I couldn’t get the fuel nozzles I wanted to use from CAT. So I call ATL willing to try their aftermarket and I’ll be #### if they didn’t sell me CAT. So just cause 1 part is good doesn’t mean everything they offer is. Inspect every piece every time check and double check whether it’s aftermarket or genuine. That’s part of the installers job. Not just slinging blindly
