So smokers are untrustworthy huh? Right. You just keep that attitude. That's a pretty lousy basis for trust/non-trust.

i think the ones that might be trustworthy are the ones who dont put stupid conditions on who they can trust or not
Lilbit and notezbngrn71 Thank this. -
Didn't read all posts, but wanna chime in about those bugs... in the summertime, you can hang your head out the window and scoop up multitudes of those bugs in your teeth. Heaps of protein there, and probably more nutritious than many truck stop buffets... a little habanero sauce works wonders (I keep a bottle handy). Just gotta watch the dreaded "100-lb. Salami Bugs"---if you hit one at freeway speed, it feels like a 100-lb. salami slammin' ya upside the head. Those sonsabitches are dangerous... otherwise, you're good to go!!!

I really dont know what to ask,,, it is hard to get the questions out.. I guess its easier for me to ramble on.
You read so much negativity when .. One guy feels this way and then another feels that way about some thing.. Im going to do something Ive always done and trust my instinct. I guess it hard for me to realize I got to start at the bottom again after getting thrown out the back door when the economy went over seas and such. Bla Bla Bla ..
I said you got to listen closely , witch means read closely ..and think out side the box. ( does any one here know what it means to be in the box?) Number one point,, do a lot of reading ( if youre a new-be thinking) .. Check your ego,, we all have issues ,, be humble but not nobodys fool.
I am skeptical of any business or advertising for CDL schooling. I think I should be.. I dont think they have been truthful with me in many ways,, their main goal is to enroll as many students as they can. Im sorry this is just the way I feel,, as the purpose of any business is to make money. That doesnt mean their incapable of teaching me enough for an CDL. I think the per hire letters are a joke.. Im not sure but thats just a feeling I get . Yea I have a clean MVR and CHR,, good credit ,, I guess my age is a plus,, even if I dont understand why a 50 y/o is a plus.
Yes I can be long winded .and ramble,, my thinking is since my schooling isnt going to really cost me much,, yes thank you tax payers,, Im a tax payer. Im going to go thru the Mill and get my CDL. I know I can do anything I thing I set my mind too. I want to keep my mind on learning what the school is going to teach me,, not wasting time worrying about getting hired by whom.. The two recruiters for carriers that I talked to on the phone didnt seem to want to talk to me any way until I had my CDL. I am just wondering if the school is the least of my problems and getting proper training is the next bigger one Almost any monkey can get a CDL with a decent school,, is my biggest hurdle after school when I find out that Im slave labor to an industry built on deceit of hard working drivers.. can I do this and love it,, I like challenges and most of all driving.. I only drove a semi once and I ll save that story for a later time.. All I can tell you monkeys sometimes fling *** .. besides eat bugs,,,, and any bugs will be appreciated.
Pure monkey is going to watch out for 100 lb. salamis ,,,, free dinners for a week . ,, PurpleKW you bring the hot sauce .I will have plenty of bugs for a great truckers stew how about in Florida # love bug time.. Pure Monkey -

Im sorry that I dont answer each post on here.. To be honest I am kind of a shy monkey I guess that is why I ramble,, ladyK it made me feel good you think you can follow my line of communication process because I am asking questions,, Oh yes I like strong bold coffee.. But have been known to chase spots,, I take every post seriously as in condocrusier,,bumpi49,,Dionysus,, kingson and all the others too,, well may-be not as serious.. Thank ye
Yeah ,, Im a bit nervous and as jumpy as a monkey with a bag of peanuts Yeah had to give up smoking and making me a bit cranky too,,,, the other monkey werent trusting me any more Its not the first time ,,, monkeys do have trust issues,,,, just watch them at a zoo some time,,, and were sneaky well steel your bag of nutts in a heart beat . Oh I cant wait till I stand tall Up right and become a driver ..
I know I should start class Tuesday morning,, but I havent done the drug test or the physical yet,,, didnt want to drop the 135.00 until I knew the funding came thru.. The school will refund it out of the WIA but didnt give me much warning Wanted me to rush around on this holiday weekend so I could be ready for them on Tuesday,, Ill decide on Monday,, Really the people at the school have been very nice,, nice building,, decent trucks,,, (what do I know about trucks) ,, students I meet seemed happy I should remember Im the one that wanted to start on the 3rd so may-be I can find a lab to do a MOT test between now and Tuesday .I wonder do I need an order? ,, other wise Ill just wait a week and start fresh on a Monday that was my plan along ..Hummm,, I better get used to it.. Messed up plans pure monkey,,, -
Which school/company did you decide to go with? My husband and I are going the Central route here in CA. As to the 'troll' - I think that comment was directed at another poster - just happened to be on this thread - I could be wrong, but don't think I am, but I could be wrong about that too - LOL! (that last comment is why I can follow your thoughts so well <grin>)
