Picking bugs off of you

Wow doesn’t life have enough poo in it… now your going to read mine… Well if I was going to be on plan it would have been today I would have started CDL school.. I did talk to the school today,, a pre authorization has to be made to the lab for drug and physical. It just amazes me how unorganized the process can be. I mean yeah they mean well I guess but you would think 12 years they could put together a better step process.. I won’t go into detail but I know I could be more helpful and better organized, its just might be what’s to come,, the run around…..it’s in the details,, I love information… I guess I’ll be on the road in the truck the first day.. Yup that’s what I’ve been told.. Well see,, I need to talk about the contract yet,, more double talk or it might be training as to know my place,, who knows what schools are trying to teach ya these days… I just wonder….

Boy glad I watched the old long noise Peterbuilt at the Ford dealership today.. Yup a sleeper pulling a flat bed pulling away form the curb after I noticed him climbing in the truck. He did some paper work on the steering wheel,, put his seat belt on,, pulled on his coat ,, fired up ,,sat for a minute,, tilted the wheel down,, changed hats and pulled away… I was on the other side of a chain link fence,, thinking I wish I had a tail.

I guess I change my mind from one minute to the next if I really want to go thru with this only because I don’t think drivers receive the respect they deserve. I also think the pay sucks… just my opinion…

On the other hand ,, the hand with the bag of peanuts, I have read enough that it will be what I make it,, with conditions out of my control,, learn to deal with it. I just hope I get a decent trainer or trainers.. that’s the other hand the one on my butt ,, got to be safe you know..

If your checking in on my post and your thinking about becoming a driver,,, I don’t know poo… The only advice I can give ya is read and think and read and think about it.. There are many opinions on new guys getting into it and who is worthy or not. Might make fun of you but trust your instincts I’m pretty sure your getting a straight reality check here if you pay attention.

Now I wonder if I can find the forms for the DOT physical .. I know I seen them somewhere on the internet,, quite a few of them,, I think on the FMCSA pages,, just wonder witch ones,,, boy I sure would like to have them filled out before I get to the lab… I know if the school was better at really helping you ,, your thinking along my lines…. You wonder how I got thru the WIA in two weeks,,, hummm,,, read think,, read think,,, information got to love it… Boy I ramble,,, may-be a new name rambler,,,,

I now have an appointment for physical and drug test on Thursday morning. Blah ,, blah,,,
Never did find the forums only because been doing personal stuff monkeys do… But remember enough to know witch information to bring with me.. Doctors complete info and such along with any medications. info.

I beginning to think I’ve been a little too skeptic of my CDL training school.. Jury is still out on it,, time will tell. I guess a lot of my scientism has been associated with on line research . I had issues with the contract agreement between me and the school, mainly wording, Reimbursements situations with WIA and trust issues on personal checks. I was very surprised that the owner of the school called me personally this morning and satisfied me on all accounts. I’ve been dealing with recruiters .. And assume they couldn’t really do what I wanted and kind of gave me the impression I might have been unreasonable in my concerns until this morning..

I just find it interesting or odd,, no bewildered that after all the years the school has been in business there couldn’t be a accurate out line of events and requirements for each step. It’s just a lot of little things and causes delays, misunderstandings and money on the students side,, and may-be on their side as it could mean fewer students being able to start as scheduled as in my case. I could be an odd duck of a monkey,, I like details and love information. I personally treat people with respect and consideration and find this all most insulting and bugs me,, not the good kind of bugs mind you…

I really want to say something positive as there are positives. The people at the school are polite, and appear to know their job. A very nice building, I am sallow as I take care of my things and take pride in appearances. The trucks look newer and are clean,, Freight liners and that’s all I know about the trucks. It is some what close to home, most importantly a jungle gym to play on at breaks.

Man what about gas prices,, 100 banana’s and didn’t even get a full tank.. Monkeys dislike orangutans for so many reasons since 1974 all you heard is break our dependence on foreign pea nuts,, more fuel efficient cars and trucks,, empty promises… Kind of wonder how this effects trucking companies.. (Higher fuel prices).. Hench employment opportunities other than the obvious for new drivers, experienced drivers and the owner operators …. Just an other uncertainty in a world going down grade with no escape ramp… I will not ever re-elect a orangutan ever… I hear they run the chicken coops ,, freaks with their long arms.

Well,, deep subject ,, but it’s all I got. .except I don’t know if I should tell ya about the time I drove a semi,, I want too but think you might get pissed or make fun of it,, I just know it was stupid , I’ll think about it. No big deal…I guess we all have done things we regret..

Well bummer ,, I did not get my DOT health card….I guess the doctor wanted a stress test and a note from my cardiologist that I am fit to work.

I read the FMCSA on my condition and wouldn’t disqualify my health card ….. I had heart stints installed by a egger cardiologist who prided himself on fast he could put them in…
Well his best time from the moment you walked in the door to them being installed was 7 minutes and 48 seconds.. When he told me that I said for the 45,000.00 thousand you charged me I’d rather you’d taken a few more minutes,,, he didn’t seam to see the hummer.

I was supposed to start school on Monday, I told doctor doing the exam, wish some would have mentioned I was going to need stress test before hand. So I can start school Monday ,,oh you’ll never get one scheduled that quick.

I have one for 9 am tomorrow morning.. I’m pushing it,, bad communications on all accounts.

But like every thing so far nothing has gone to plan.. I at least now know,, that because I have stints,, you got to get certified once every year for a DOT health card and every other year a stress test.. I now know to have the stress test before hand with the results from the cardiologist with me when I go for re-certification.

It amazes me I read this but didn’t comprehend. Just may-be this will help one individual going thru the process.

The school let me down this morning too. I had issues with them not excepting personal checks from students. Thru the WIA the DOT drug/physical is covered thru the WIA funding but is paid to the school. The school reimburse you for the cost of the drug and physical. Hench I wouldn’t except a check from them for payment as reimbursement. This kind of thru them off tract and said they didn’t keep that kind of cash around,, but we keep the 5,000 cash on hand to give them.. Just didn’t sit well with me.. I was told the day before that the health provider would bill the school by the owner of the school. Of course when I get to the health provider it hadn’t been done.. It did get straightened out, But what they say and what they do.. Humm,, pay attention and don’t get buffaloed .. My point here is read between the lines.

Once they have payment form the goose who lays the golden egg your screwed,, just remember that and get all your request before you sign the contract.. Read every line and don’t be afraid to run a line thru the terms you don’t agree too and have both you and the school, health provider Initial it,, get a copy period. Once you signed your screwed… get it in writing… just my opinion. But don’t be unreasonable just think about what it is your signing, a contract is to protect all parties just not one as you might find out if you don’t question and understand… Predators come in many forms. Monkeys are jumpy…for a reason.

Just may-be I’ll get to sign that contract and start school Monday,, but can I hold my breath that long.

Well May-be getting a stress test does sound like your stressed,, Hum don’t know,, but I am usually pretty easy going except when someone messes with this monkeys nuts..

Humm,, yes and the doctor did mess with my nuts, this monkey has been checked for hernias before and there was un appropriate behaviors on doctors part.. I will seek legal advice after getting my stress done at my cardiologist,, , and going back to the health care provider who did the DOT drug and physical case worker to issue my DOT card .. I will have my card today,, weather I do or don’t proceed with legal action against the provider about sexual molestation.


I just wonder why I have to fast for four hours before the stress test. It’s just walking on the tread mill with wires stuck to your chest. I walk at least 2 miles a day up and down hills for exercise and I am almost the fittest I’ve ever been so not worried about passing the stress test. Ok there is one thing I’ve been stressing about and may-be your picking up on that.. Cardiologist put me on Liptor for cholesterol and a rare side effect is hair lost. I’m losing my hair and monkey’s like their hair,, it only goes to reason ,, think about it would you want to be a hairless monkey with no tail… then I might as well be a chimpanzee and don’t get me on that because a few of you already don’t know the difference by posting chimpanzee’s and thinking your posting monkey videos.. I’m a monkey,, told you once I’ll tall ya again I’m a monkey.. not a troll a monkey hanging upside down picking bugs off you,, and that’s not easy with no tail….

I just want to start class on Monday and if I don’t ,, oh well I won’t stress about it… I am so freaking board out of my skull how many times can I read my CDL manual,,,,, I want play with the trucks now…. May-be I’ll look good in a hat….

LOL ,,, didn't think about the happy ending..... hear ya about the liptor,, going to talk about that today,, didn't want to go on it( liptor) in the first place,, but said I'll try it,,, I wasn't susposed to go in an see him (Cardiologsit) until march,, but this other doc,, you know the funny doc at the DOT,,,,power trips...
