Whipper I'm in the same boat dude. I'm on the east coast with absolutely nothing to do. Yeah there's a few fecal loads for .80 and .90 going to areas with the same rate. There is nothing that pays decent unless it's so cal. And then that even ain't that great.

I just came back to this coast for $1 and I'm trying real hard not to make that phone call to go solo. My wife doesn't want to give up driving so I'm trying my best not to make that call. I guess I will dead head to Florida from the north east and cool down for a few days.

 

That is why I've always said its hard to have that home run week. Because almost always you will have to sit for a day. I had to sit for a day and a half for this $1 load back. And now there's nothing. I need to go home to Florida for a day anyways, so now is a good time as ever since there's nothing to do. I cant even get a crap load south unless I dead head 250+ miles to jersey city and take 95 down to South Carolina for a measly $600 lol.

I'll just go now and save myself the headache.

 

They make those weekly payments, get freight moved all at no cost to them and 35%plus off the top.

Sounds profitable to me.

 

SNI isn't losing money when you deadhead or sit either.
So they win.

 

You are just another leased truck..not to mention you're payments are due EVERY week.
So sit or run they don't care is all I'm stating..YOU are losing money they are not.
Time lost can never be made up..even teaming.
Deadheading costs you everytime..fuel burned is money burned.
Plain and simple..not trying to start a fight just putting it in plain English.
