    The IC meeting come about for IC's to discuss issues face to face. I know SNI will not change how they operate until it affects their bottom line IC'S be ######. I started thread because I was accused of being all talk no action. Also Everytime I have voiced concerns I've been told stop whining take my truck elsewhere blah blah blah.

    I think 6 months ago I said an IPO was coming and again I was called a whiner. I'm a big boy I can handle it so no problems here but it's funny you complain after having been warned teaming sucks here and people find a way to encourage your complaints.

    There was once someone on this thread long ago who suggested sharing the bad points as well as the good so people see more of the full picture.
    As long as i hit my income goals I am content overall.

    I forgot you have freeform every stop. And some you have to stop at a designated safe stop like an oc.

    Out of all the nonsense there are couple things that bother me, but this tops the list:

    Someone has to guard the truck at all times, 24/7. No sleeping, sit and guard, and someone is supposed to be on line 4 the whole time. So if you have an extra day or more on a high value load, put your security hat on, you're gonna be Paul Blart for a few day(s). If you're not on line 4 CS will be in touch.

    Even if you have an extra 5, 7, or 12 hours, and you're dead tired someone has to stay up and guard. All for $1.23/mile, no extra pay. Hahaha not me.

    Yup, I'm doing back to back of those babysit loads. Thankfully it pays good enough for me.

    Yeah I know. I have spent alot of time reading old choice threads. Rates are the same as almost ten years ago. Supply and demand I get. Meanwhile equipment cost is going through the roof and becoming less reliable. I'm preaching to the choir, I know. Then I read a thread where Carolina cargo has teams splitting 20 cents a mile. Holy cow. Just fascinates me that's all. And as always I appreciate the insight. Don't let those who rag on you stop you from sharing. Alot can be learned.

    Well as you know your load you're on now is the exception not the rule. Most of the loads where you're loading out of that are in the $1.20 range.
