I respect your opinion, but you have to use common sense too. Going around and taking pics of government buildings is going to get you noticed real quick these days. That's like trying to sneak a box cutter on an airplane just to see what you can get away with. Why?

One of the big reasons I left LE was because I saw things changing for the worse. Back when I started you used to be able to take a public intox home instead of booking them in. Well then families started suing cops for dropping them off at home where they'd get hurt stumbling around in their own house. Bad guys got more aggressive, and parents stopped teaching their kids to respect cops. When you have a juvenile, instead of the parents punishing their kids they'd go after us like we were the bad guys. I just didn't enjoy it anymore. I never envisioned it would get this bad. It's to the point now where the public is going around looking for confrontations with police to get on the news or score a lawsuit. Bad guys with guns get shot by police and the police are the bad guys. Society has lost it's way. Are there some bad cops? Absolutely, just like there are some bad doctors, pilots, school teachers, politicians, etc. People need to stop singling out cops like their some fraternity of evil going around killing people. Media is a huge blame in all this too. Anything for the almighty rating.

Right, but my point is your license granted by your state is a privilege, not a right given to you by the constitution. Everybody is expected to follow the same rules on those roads, and that includes being stopped by cops if it's expected you have broken some sort of law that those same states have created.

And by driving on the roads we agree to the laws that govern them.

I'm just a truck driver but I'm pretty sure if I am in a company owned vehicle towing a company owned trailer laded with company customer freight , I would be expected to comply with LE, local state or federal.

if your choice is to be a "sovereign citizen" why in the #### would you think entering a highly regulated industry is a sovereign move?

Late to the party here on the IFTA subject, but it's figured on gallons burned in each state. This is figured by fuel mileage and per sni contract we are set at 5.5 miles per gallon if we participate in their IFTA program. Most of us get much better than 5.5. yes sni IFTA is to high. Just consider it a administration fee.:D

To be fair they do give us the option to file IFTA on our own. Just sayin. I don't just to stay away from the headache. I have yet to see a service they offer that is without financial benefit to them. But I guess it's fair. We are in business and so are they. Sigh. Lol.
