Actually if you get above a certain miles per gallon you get penalized. I believe it's 9-9.5 and above you get the penalty.drvrtech77 Thanks this.

They told us in orientation that it defaults back to 5.5 at a certain mpg...thought it was 10, but you could be right about 9-9.5. John told us there is a way of having it changed from the 5.5 to actual mpg so that it actually goes off of you real mpg, but I forget what they said the procedure was.sealevel Thanks this.

It's amazing what asking will do. Just pulled it. On some months they have me close to 8.6. on others they have me at 4.9. it appears when I get better than their average they pull me back to 4.9 as per contract.

I've always taken alot of pride in my fuel mileage. Especially from a old sixty series. I get hit from time to time with outrageous IFTA back charges and come to find out it's when I am getting my best mileage and they revert me back to 4.9 to the gallon.
