Went back through the thread anf yes he does make it appear as if big money is just there waiting to be had. Maybe he is after some referral money idk. But I know most people tend to do the same thing.
Its basic human psychology, most people like positive attention.
RB never highlights anything of his... Good or bad. Just the facts plain and simple. Remember we're looking for someone who makes a big deal about their bad weeks.
I understand exactly what you mean about ICs who didn't do enough due diligence before jumping on board. I've met quite a few who are struggling just to make their truck payment and eat.
I'm going to leave a lot unsaid because this is a public forum.
I wish more people could express their arguments and disagreements as positively as you do though.TennMan Thanks this. -
The only nonsense here is every word you post on my thread Trollmeister.
Yes lets cross check your statements once more...
What you "thought" was impossible I already proved..
Did you read though my loads.. my statement etc?
I had $6300 in revenue on loads I worked Tuesday-Friday.. one pay week. (including the $150 VNU)
With screenshots of my loads you'll see I had a huge amount of empty miles, I was way over 8 MPG and for the week I only drove about 2800 miles.
Lets do some basic math here being some don't know how to do any.
You say ONLY $800 worth of fuel what does that get you at (I'll keep it at 8 for the low end) 8 mpg at 2800 miles.
2800 divided by 8 MPG = 350 gallons
My fuel bought for the week was
137 gallons at $2.544 and $20 in DEF
167 gallons at $2.324
Which is 303 gallons I bought for the week.
If you read (instead of trolled blindlessly) I said I had a little fuel carry over earlier
.
So I had maybe 50 gallons or so of fuel carry over from the previous week. That doesn't change a settlement by thousands of dollars.
There's a breakdown of all my loads each day, the miles and even the pay on my settlement.
Others that actually read and did some math see that I was keeping it real.
It's real sad we've got grown adults in here still making up random stuff endlessly about me.. even after the fact I posted my assigned loads and pay settlement.
When I say something man I can back it up.Last edited: Jul 9, 2015

TennMan I don't post my statements left and right. If you go through my thread you'll see this was the first time.
I've never felt the need to go have to prove what I say with a week I had up until recently.
When I had time off with my truck in the shop nobody was saying "I'm full of it" "you're misleading people" etc etc
I just said my last load paid $1 a mile and again nobody thinks I'm making that up and asks to see that $1 load.
However when I said a good week nobody believes me and I get called names.
That's why I just posted all that I just did.Last edited: Jul 9, 2015

Again.. go through this thread. This was the FIRST time I posted a pay statement and only because everybody was calling me out.
I've been opened about my bad weeks which is not from no loads or bad rates rather from simply not working:
I've said also when my truck was in the shop that I had 30k miles on my truck and explained it's because I've taken a lot of time off and when you take time off those $1,100 deductions keep on going.
Managing time off and going home with that $1,100 coming out every week is a big thing to manage.
A so called "bad week" is just taking a week off which is -$1,100mxpx148 Thanks this. -
Yup that's pretty much what's going on in here.
No other pay statements on this thread up until now and even after posting it they're still bashing me.
xlsdraw Thanks this. -
here you go..
tucker, PoleCrusher, mxpx148 and 2 others Thank this.
