Figure around what i would earn solo minus paying a driver.

If we haven't learned by now about SNI, they don't care how the freight gets booked or who books it as long as it is picked up on time and delivered safely and legally for the rate they say.

Funny I remember a time say a year or more ago that FW said he wasn't worried about competition.

Maybe I read his posts wrong and he isn't really worried at all.

I have a $5000 sign on bonus which makes up for most of it over 6 months.
Plus i can camp the load board while I'm out of the truck so I can get better loads than I normally can.

    TennMan Thanks this.

I'm more concerned about the crappy freight market in general and people using stupid freightpicker.

SNI has tons of contract freight, I was just at a consignee last week once I dropped the customer asked which load I was taking out I said none their aren't any for the IC asked for empty was told no because SNI had several pre loaded loads that have been ready for pick up and they need empty trailers

I went and looked on the board, not 1 load in a 3 week period was on the board.

Point is there's freight they're just keeping it for company or holding onto it til last minute.

Oh yeah I know, Schneider is holding loads hostage hoping they can put it on a company truck.
I've seen it myself as well at other customers.

I think this is more of a problem than freight picker. Freight picker has been around for years now. Over saturation and competing with company trucks is the problem. It just seems to easy to blame it on freight picker.
