Heck, I'm one of the ones that plods along at 63 when I have the time. That gets me 7mpg in my big ### truck. I try to schedule myself so I don't have to run it any faster. I know I'm not going to come close to running up against my 70 on any given week so I turtle along. When I do have to give it hell, though, I will. Week before last I DID get close to my 70 before returning home (thanks to a load cancellation sending me in the wrong direction) so I made my run across Kansas and Colorado at 75 to make it home with 36 minutes on the clock. Thankfully, it was a light load so I still managed 6.4mpg with a favorable tailwind.

Happens every time I pass a Swift. They just can't handle the pressure.

That's pretty normal for Swift. That's the new style trailer they spec'd for overhead crane loading and deliveries.

    Home_on_wheels Thanks this.
