That's why I never take anything to northern ca. I ALWAYS go to so cal. The only thing up there is fed ex that pays crap. And if you get a good paying load to Phoenix, I always count on dead heading to so cal. Sometimes something pops up around there but I've never had it ready for pick up the day I was there.

Yea that's my point. All the so called experts are predicting bad things for next year. Just doesn't feel like a good time to be jumping off a perfectly good ship.

Im no expert economist by any means, but i have been working freight rates since 95 and ya pick up on trends when you pay attention. And if i had to take a guess of what freight is going to do, based on my experience in the market, i think it's gonna be a rough, but survivable winter no matter what happens in the election. But not 08/09 rough. if Trump is elected, and follows through on his stated plans, we should see a boost next year. If hillary is elected it will be more of the same, with fuel cost steadily rising.
