Keep your receipt from your walmart purchase show up in court and prove you were shopping.

Ask if they give all shoppers a ticket.

 

I believe they ticket trucks more for 2 reasons even if a car is doing something much worse.. Less likely to fight and a truck is much less likely to do something to endanger. their life.

 

From the pic, it looks like you are still in walmart parking. I think the bk property extends around that outside row of parking.

Some municipalities need that revenue more than others and do whatever they can to get it. I don't see how cops can be writing tickets on the employee vehicles on private property.

 

Telling from the "Northeast jokes" apparently no one runs the Atlanta area... the Wal Marts around there are notorious for that.

And if it's a ordinance and if that private property is in a business zone then yes, a local can enforce the rule

 

Can't enforce parking rules on private property. I'd challenge the citation.

 

I'd rip that #### up and continue with my day.

 

And six months from now at a dot check you will be out of service for a suspended license.

 

That cop is only doing what his department is told to do by the elected city officials. It's highly unlikely he enjoys harassing truck drivers but he has to do what the ones above him tell him to do.
